4 out of 5 stars Good if you are very unstable or very advanced.   November 24, 2009
Pilates Person (San Francisco, CA)
i'm a pilates teacher and this product was great for people that are so unstable that they can't sit on a regular ball without falling over (I have seen very few people are this weak). This is also great for advanced students that are strong enough to do push-ups on it etc (i see very few students that are this strong). It's not very useful for anyone in between-which is most of my students. it does do what it says though.

1 out of 5 stars Skip this over-hyped product   October 25, 2009
Carrera (mercer island, wa United States)
I read the reviews and bought the product. It arrived October 22, 2009. My first disappointment was when I took it out of the box and realized it was half the size I thought it was. My second disappointment was the realization the "black tip" inflation device that was needed to attach to the hand pump was not in the box. When I finally secured a similar inflation tip from another product I have from the same manufacture, I inflated the ball according to the instructions.
When I went to use it the next day, it had deflated 30%. It is now in the garbage.
This product could only be inflated in its advertising and review hype. Any exercise ball that will not hold air is worthless unless you enjoy the tedium of pumping it up each day before use. Save your frustration and buy elsewhere.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent workout tool   September 30, 2009

These are back savers when you're doing crunches. I don't own one but use them virtually every week at my gym. They're made well and easy to use. Also, they're useful for more than just core training. You can use them for arm exercises as well or as a support while doing chest workouts with dumbbells. As work out tools go, this is a must if you have a sensitive back or if you like to work out your balance/support muscle groups at the same time you hit your main muscle groups. Well made, easy to use and versatile, they're a great addition to your workout routine either at home or work.

5 out of 5 stars BOSU Balast Ball: Right Place, Right Time   August 6, 2009

The best feature is that it stays put. Not a risk for rolling away from you when you go to sit on it for an exercise.

1 out of 5 stars BOSU NOT SO GOOD   June 29, 2009
Rut (Claremont, ca United States)

This bosu ball is IMPPOSIBLE to blow, the pump that was sent with it floats in the opening allowing all the air to go back out.
Though it looks like the ones at my club, this one has ripples and markings on the inside of the plastic.
I intend to file a request to exchange this BOSU from Amazon.com
