I started using this when I was 16 weeks pregnant and now I am 20 weeks. I have heard my baby's heartbeat every time I've used this doppler! I have had absolutely no problems with it! Great Product!!

I ordered this a couple weeks ago and at first I couldn't find the heartbeat, but when I tried it the next day, I found it after a couple minutes of searching. It was loud and clear when the baby wasn't moving around! I tried it the next day and it didn't work at all. Wouldn't pick up my heartbeat or anything. I was pretty disappointed but a couple days later I tried it again and it worked! But only for a short amount of time. I think the longer I use it, it wears out or something. Not quite sure. Just be prepared for it to only work for a short amount of time, if at all.

The best $30 dollars invested in my mental health. After miscarrying two babies I got pregnant again and I decided to give the try to this doppler (I was thinking about getting a more expensive one). I received the doppler and put it in my closet because it stated that you can use it after 12 weeks.
I went to the doctor at 8 weeks 4 days and he detected a strong heartbeat in the ultrasound machine. After I arrived home I remembered I had the doppler and decided to give a try with no expectations....to my surprise it took less than a minute to find the heartbeat. I was shocked. I didn't had the gel and I use KY jelly that works great.
It's being two weeks and every day I use it, it doesn't take me more than a minute or two and this has given me a peace of mind the the baby is okay. The heartbeat each day gets louder probably as the baby grows.

I received the Angelsounds fetal doppler when I was 12 weeks. I didn't think it would work so early, especially since I am a bigger girl. However, it worked great every time I used it (approx. twice/week), even though sometimes I had to search for a while before I heard baby's heartbeat(most likely due to the baby moving around). Then, 5 weeks later, it just stopped working - it makes a constant, high-pitched noise that even changing batteries doesn't fix. That noise is all you can hear as soon as you turn it on. So while it worked, I would have given it 5 stars...but it didn't work nearly long enough.

I'm happy with this product. I have always found my baby's heartbeat within 30 seconds (but I didn't start using it until 20w), even with an anterior placenta. I can also hear kicks. You don't need any gel - just a few drops of water work fine. If I move the doppler around my stomach, though, it can sound VERY loud in the earphones, so I have just learned to either pick it up off my skin to move it, or turn down the volume when I move it. The earphones also work fine, and there is a 2nd plug in that we've used for a set of earphones we already had so my husband and I can both listen at the same time. The fact that there are no speakers and there is no heart rate monitor are the only drawbacks, but I knew that before I bought it, so obviously if I really wanted these, I would have bought a doppler with those features. For the price and quick delivery, this can't be beat! Oh, one other thing - I do try to avoid using it too much because if I listen for more than a minute in the same spot, my baby tends to deliver a hard kick right to the doppler - making me think he can hear it too.
