Dry house + Crane = not so dry house November 27, 2009

Short and to the point: This product does put humidity into the air... So much so that photos in my bedroom started to curl. It's pretty quiet... On the highest setting it will make some noise, but unless it's right next you probably won't notice. Meant for a small room though.

I bought this item for my boyfriend to use.
The humidifier is quiet and easy to use. He empties it after each use to prevent mildew or mold from growing in the air.
It does make a gurgling noise from time to time but it is almost unnoticable

This is my second Crane humidifier in the past 4 years, and for $40 I think the 1st one lasted a while. It looks great in my contemporary bedroom, which is one of the things I was looking for, plus it does a GREAT job humidifying the air. My room is 10x11, and it makes it feel much more comfortable during the winter time, even if it is in the farthest corner of the room.
It is hard to clean, I wish they would come up with a better design because it does not make sense that you cannot clean the tank unless you put some solution on it and shake it vigorously and then make sure that you remove all residue before filling it up again (I'm lazy, so I only do this once every 2 weeks). I still give it 4 stars because other models and brands have the same problem, and among them this is still one of the best buys.

I've never owned a vaporizer like this. Amazingly quiet, you'll never know its running unless you look at the orange "on" light in the tank. Cleans easily, no mold or mineral buildup as long as you use fresh water (we filter ours) every night. Perfect for small rooms, wouldn't recommend this thing if you are trying to humidify a large area. Cool looking design as well, not a huge eyesore by any means.

This humidifier is real easy to assemble and fill. It starts right up and is super quiet with 1 exception, it gurgles a bit. I am easily able to sleep through it though. The only other downside, it does not shoot the vapor too high into the air, so you want to elevate it. A great buy though.
