Product Description Easy to Use: Auto memory shows last temperature taken. Fast, one-minute temperature read-out. Battery/storage case included. Automatic shut-off. Easy to Read: Extra large lighted display for easy reading. BASAL BODY TEMPERATURE: Basal temperature is the normal body temperature of a healthy person immediately upon awakening in the morning. Wrong temperature reading November 17, 2009 Gene Man (CT, USA) Received mine today. Read a temperature and got 96.8. Then compared it to the one I used for the last 10 years and got 98.1. So we have 1.3 degree difference.
If I would trust this temperate I would need to go to the doctor.
I wonder what temperature readings got the reviewers of a positive feedbacks!
Will try to give it another chance and replace it for another one.
Search for another November 13, 2009 Natalie Goddard (Kathleen, GA United States) Not happy with this product at all. I don't think it was accurate, and the constant beeping was somewhat annoying. i could take my temp back to back and get different temps every time. this is my 2nd BBT thermometer - and I'm in search of a replica of the first one I had when charting to get pg with my 1st child. it might not have had the light, but it was accurate and reliable!
Great thermometer November 6, 2009 m. k. I have several different bbt thermometers. This is my favorite, because of the backlight. It is true that the backlight goes off after you initially turn it on, but when your temperature reading is complete you just press the button again and the backlight turns back on and shows the reading. I also like that you hear the beeps to tell you this thermometer is working. On my other ones if too much time would go by I would have to check to make sure it was really working and that meant turning on a light and then doing it all over again, which would make the reading inaccurate, since you had to get up and turn on a light to see the thermometer. The light is great and the thermometer works great.
Really like this thermometer November 1, 2009 Carol M. Rogers I like that this thermometer beeps to tell me it is reading my temp correctly. The display is big enough to read with bleary early morning eyes. It is as accurate as my glass thermometer. If you press the on/off button after taking your temp the display lights up again before switching off so that you can read your temp in the dark and it is retained in the memory. If you need to check your temp later to chart it you can switch the thermometer back on, read the temp, and switch it back off so that it will still be retained in the memory. No complaints here!
Stopped working within 3-mos October 21, 2009 Charva_z (LA) I liked it during the two incomplete cycles I used it to track. But what good is it if it breaks so fast? I'm buying another brand this time.
