Some of cheaper pomades out there I'd end up with white flakes. I did not experience this and it doesn't leave my hair too greasy looking.

When I first transitioned from mousse, gel and hairspray into a different type of hair-control product, I initially tried pomade. The stuff definitely works, but it's a tad on the greasy side. If you don't wash your face several times a day, your face will get shinier and shinier as the hours pass. It's good for several hours, but you should wash it out at the end of the day lest you run the risk of increased acne. American Crew Forming Creme for Men Medium Hold and Medium Shine, 3-Ounce Jars (Pack of 2) is what I later stuck with for a while, but that's only slighly less greasy. Now I'm using TIGI Bed Head After-Party Smoothing Cream for Silky, Shiny, Healthy Looking Hair! 3.4 oz, which doesn't grease me up like the American Crew products.

Works great, smells good, and keeps my hair manageable. A jar lasts me over 9 months. More reasonable price here on Amazon, and no need to worry about degenerates putting their dirty digits in it as they do in stores like Target.

I used to like the older pomade. The new one does not hold my hair well at all. Over all I am pretty disappointed with this product (Gave both of them away to friends who also were disappointed with it). The only good thing about this pomade is the smell. I have switched to the pomade by Gillette.

So, if you are into the lazy dude approach to styling your hair but it is too wild or curly to get away with this then this stuff is for you! I get out of the shower, run some of this through my hair and then spend all of 30 seconds brushing my hair and it dries and my hair doesn't look like I am wearing a shiny helmet and stays under control all day.
