Amazing for children with chapped hands! November 8, 2009

My girlfriend's son has a terrific problem with chapped hands and face in the winter, so I recommended that she try this for him. Well, he's a VERY happy camper these days, and reminds his mother to make sure that she thanks me all the time for telling her about it. You just cannot believe what an incredible product this is. It's awesome for use as a body lotion, but I keep it on all of my sinks to use as a hand lotion too. You really cannot beat this stuff and I know. My skin is horrible in the winter, comes from a long gene pool too and we ALL use this stuff. One of those products that is completely indispensable in this house. Highly, highly recommend!

I have extremly dry hands and feet and have been searching for a product that keeps me moisturized and stops my skin from cracking. Gold Bond Ultimate Healing works for me extremely well. It has a nice clean scent that even the men I work with don't mind using this lotion. I use it at night for my feet, and it helps keep my heals moist, especially in the summer when I wear a lot of sandals. I am a ultimate promoter of this product, as I have finally found a low-cost cure for my dry skin!

My husband has suffered from moderate atopic dermatitis for most of his life. He has had every imaginable medical treatment including very expensive ones like light therapy. He has used 100s of topical creams. Seen several very distinguished dermatologists. One day two years ago I saw this Gold's lotion at a large chain store. I bought it and since that day his skin while not perfect has never been better. It's really unbelievable that such an inexpensive lotion can help so much. Highly recommend it.

I didn't have dry skin problems to begin with - I got the lotion to "try" it out and see if the aloe/moisturizer formula helped heal acne scars. While my acne scars didn't improve, the lotion certainly moisturized my skin, made it feel good (but not greasy), and definitely lasted longer than the previous lotion I was using (Lubriderm).
And yeah, washing your hands won't get rid of the stuff, so one application is usually good for several hours. Very convenient!
The only downside was that during the summer, the lotion made my palms sweat unbearably. Just spend a few minutes scrubbing your palms with soap to get it off.

I have tried so many different types of lotions and finally decided to pay the price for Gold Bond which is somewhat expensive. It was worth the money! My skin stays moisturized much longer now and doesn't feel greasy. My hands even retain the moisture after washing. What a great product! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective moisturizer.
