Amazon.com Product Description Inversion therapy counteracts the forces of gravity on the body (particularly the back) by decompressing and elongating the spine. Not only can this relieve pressure on your spinal cord's ligaments and nerve roots, but it can also relax the back muscles that support the vertebrae. And when your back relaxes, the rest of your body invariably follows. The Body Max IT6000 Inversion Therapy Table can make a great addition to your daily routine, and help to improve your circulation and posture while relieving muscle aches, back pain, and stress. The IT6000 is easy to adjust, with a deluxe dual-pin system that lets you quickly find the right position (within a height range of 4' 8" to 6' 3"). It's also a breeze to use: once you rest your body against the pad and lock your feet behind the ankle supports, you simply reach your arms over your head. As your arms go up, your body will gradually invert until you're almost completely upside down. The only inputs are your energy and gravity itself. Construction features include a lower spring-loaded pull pin that allows for easy ankle adjustments; four safe and comfortable foam rollers; U-shaped handrails; a safety strap that lets you control the desired inverting angles; and a safety lock for when you aren't using the table. The IT6000, which folds for easy storage, will support up to 250 pounds. | | The IT6000 is easy to adjust with its deluxe dual-pin system that allows you to quickly find the right position (within a height range of 4' 8" to 6' 3"). |

Bought as gift of relief for my husband November 16, 2009 Ana M. Appell I bought this as a gift for my husband who has had back issues forever! He used the table religously sometimes twice a day. He said that it indeed does not take the pain completely away but does relieve the daily pain. I have noticed that he is not taking as much pain medicine - that in itself is good!!
Poor construction November 8, 2009 Steven P. Guimond (Maple Grove, Minnesota United States) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Poor construction. Plastic end caps falling off. Plastic feet came off just moving it across the floor. Fit and finish sub-par. Like one reviewer said "you get what you pay for". I have already thrown this thing in the trash. Not worth the effort to even return.
Great Value October 26, 2009 W. Walker (Reading, MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this product knowing that at this price I might not be getting a high quality product. Was I wrong. This table is solid and sturdy. It is easy to assemble and was ready to go in 15 minutes. The balance is good and it is easy to move your body into an inverted position. I have found relief from lower back pain already using this table.
The only problem I found was that the area where you lay your back is not as comfortable as some other tables I have tried. But I am not complaining and consider this a minor point.
I would rate this a great deal for the money and highly recommend it for lower back pain sufferers.
Great buy for the money October 23, 2009 E. Berger 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really like this inversion bed. It's a great buy for the money. The one thing you should know before buying it is you will never be able to put it together alone unless you are a wiz using 2 wrenches at once. I have assembeled many things on my own, complicated things. This is simple to assemble but you must be able to use 2 wrenches at once; one holding the nuts and one screwing in the bolts as with the metal nuts and bolts you can't just hold it with one hand while you screw it in with the wrench like it tells you too. When I called the 800# in the manual for help they did tell me that you really need to use 2 wrenches at the same time to do it. They were very helpful, even sent me a part that had broken in the shipping, but that being said, don't buy it thinking you are going to assemble it on your own. I ended up having to pay a company who does these regularly 100 bucks to come assemble it, which is about what I paid. Still worth the buy. You definitely need a pillow over the poll that hits your lower back when lying on the bed as some people have suggested, but all in all it's a great sturdy bed!
So far, so good October 16, 2009 Lonewolf 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
.....I was diagnosed with a herniated disc just a couple of weeks ago. A friend at work had told me about his own struggles with his herniated disc over the last few years. He swears by his inversion table. Based on that and some intensive internet research, I decided to get one. I initially looked around town for one, but the cheapest I could find (not such a common item at stores) was $200, plus I would have to lug it home. This one was priced right($109) and had free shipping...someone else could lug it to my front door ;)...Ordered it on a Sat. night and had by lunchtime on Tues. wow...that was fast(came from Indy to Dayton, OH area). Had a couple broken plastic clips upon arrival. The clips are to keep your floor from getting scratched...no big deal...I set my up in a carpeted room so I didn't need them. Went together without to much effort and was swinging upside down in about 40 minutes. The IT6000 is sturdy and easy to adjust. Never felt like I was in danger of tip over and once I adjusted the ankle clamp & foot rest positions, flipping over was a piece o' cake. In just three nights of inverting at about 60~75 degrees (saftey strap is handy), I can now walk without a limp or feeling a twinge in my lower back. Don't get me wrong, I still have numbness in my leg and foot and my back still has a bit of tenderness, but I has been greatly reduced. Looking forward to my continued rehab with the IT6000. Good investment, great results....and no this thing won't become another clothes hanger in the house :)
