Ingredients: 100 Wide Range 4.5 - 9.0 pH Test Strips Suggested Use: Directions To Test Urine: Quickly pass the pH strip through your urine stream. Shake off any excess urine immediately. Hold the strip in the air, wait 15 seconds, then match the color on the strip pad to the corresponding color chart within the see-through bottle. Note your pH reading level for future reference. Discard the strip - Do not reuse. Directions To Test Saliva: Prior to testing, ensure you have not eaten, drank or brushed your teeth in the last hour. Rinse your mouth or with water and wait for approximately 3 minutes. Test your saliva. I was VERY disappointed with these strips! The results are off by as much as 1 to 2! I work in the medical field, and always calibrate a new bottle of pH strips using a liquid with a known pH; the results using these strips were too far off to recommend their use.
Save your money!

Can't find this at Phion's website. These are discontinued. Phion sells the improved version with two color squares on each strip.
I have these strips and the newer ones with two color squares on each strip. The results don't match. They differ by as much as 1.5. I trust the newer two-color ones. They're called pHion Test Strips.
The colors on this Essential pH version are so similar you can't distinguish over a large range. 6.0 to 6.5 are almost the same. 6.75 to 7.25 are too close to call. Every number above 7.25 is dark green. Can't differentiate.

Great test strip. Has a great spread of diagnostic numbers to be able to actually identify what percentage of acidity or alkaline you're working with. Instead of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and having to guess what percentage of each number, these strips are well defined with graduations in between each Primary Number. Good product, right price, I'll buy again.
