 Good, comfortable light blocking November 5, 2009

I purchased this for a transatlantic flight. They were very comfortable and did provide good light blocking. The "with earplugs" is a little deceptive in my opinion as they're just the little foam ear plugs which you use once or twice and pitch. If you want good, comfortable sound reduction - plan on buying something else. I got what I expected however as I bouught it for the sleep mask, not the earplugs.

This is the only eye mask that is actually comfortable wear during business travel. I knocked off one star in the rating only because the material is soft and comfortable, but I don't know how durable it will be for the next few years (if it's being folded and smooshed in a carry on airline bag). Still, at this price, I can buy another when it wears out.

Without a doubt, this is the best sleep mask that I've ever owned. However, I'm not a great connoisseur of sleep masks, so I realize that is not a ringing endorsement.
The mask is comfortable, easily adjustable and the contours keep it from pressing against your eyes when you sleep. That's much better than any mask I've owned otherwise and makes me more willing to use this mask when I'm trying to sleep in a bright room.
My only minor gripe about the mask is the inevitable light leakage around my nose. While this mask blocks more light than any other that I've tried, it still does not immerse me in the absolute pitch blackness that I've been looking for.
Beyond that personal pickiness, this is a great mask at a great price.

I've tried different masks in the past, and this is by far the best I've used. If fits well on the face and blocks most light. A little leaks in under the bottom, but much better than most.
