Love these strips, so easy to use, nice large scale. I have read the other reviews and wanted to say that my husband and I did test our water and some other liquids and these definitely give you an idea on where the ph is. Just to give an example, our water from our faucet comes out really acidic ( yellow). Tested other bottled water and Deer Park comes out alkaline (green). Which is where water is suppose to be. Definitely worth it when trying to figure something out, internally or externally. Received them in a timely fashion as well.

These strips do not work with water or any other non-ionized solution. See [...] which says, "These strips do NOT test against water or chemicals. They need to be tested against high ionized solutions. Water is not a high ionized solution and other chemicals may dilute the strip to be unreadable."
They do work with urine or saliva, but you cannot test them using water or other solutions.
The product information on this should be updated to clarify this issue. There are several negative reviews where people think the strips do not work because there is no warning in the product information that the strips cannot be tested with water or similar solutions.

I got these pH test strips in order to make a solution of water at around pH 5. Well, the pH strips seem to perpetually be yellow. The closest to green I was able to get them was by putting them in bleach, which had a known pH of around 12, and then the strips only showed a pH of 6.5. So these strips are extremely unreliable and I would not recommend spending anything on them.

It works as advertised - readings come out about the same with both urine and saliva. Easy to use. Easy to measure testing strip with color chart.
Arrived timely after my order was placed. I have already recommended it.

As an individual interested in improving my health, I read extensively. Many nutitional experts recommend a diet that helps your body remain pH neutral or slightly alkline for maxium health. These strips allow fast, easy testing for pH results, without which, needed adjustments can not be made in an individual's diet.
I highly recommend this product which was purchased through Amazon quickly, easily and at a good price.
