5 out of 5 stars Barbie   March 11, 2007

Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses is a very pretty doll. The face has been done beautifully! The doll will be fine even if played with by younger children.

4 out of 5 stars it's a barbie...it lights up   March 9, 2007

What little girl wouldn't love a barbie that spins and lights up? While I'm not a huge fan of barbies, and don't push them on my child, she loves them, and this one as well, if not more than the others because of it's special tricks.

2 out of 5 stars Not the real thing   February 18, 2007
J. Weis (Washington State)
Well, I see someone else had the same comment. I was a little disappointed because I sent my 7-year-old granddaughter this for Christmas. When I talked to her later, I asked how she liked the doll and she said, "It's fine, but it's not the real one." I still have no idea what she means, but if a 7-year-old can tell it's not the real doll like the Princess Genevieve in the movie, then there's a real problem with it. How awful to have sent my granddaughter a second-rate gift for Christmas! That's not really something you can undo!

3 out of 5 stars she still loved it!   February 7, 2007

I have a 3 and half yr old daughter who loves Barbie, and loved this movie. Not surprisingly she LOVED the doll! I thought she was a decent Barbie- definitely pretty, but the "twirling skirt" is the lamest thing I have seen recently on a Barbie. It doesn't twirl very well (sometimes not at all) which would be disappointing to my daughter if she were older. And because it has this attached skirt, you can't undress her in the normal way. Having said that, we would still buy it again :)

5 out of 5 stars Made My Daughter's Day!!!   January 27, 2007

The only thing my daughter wanted for Christmas was this doll and I was unable to find it. However, I was able to find one for her birthday at the end of the month, and she loved it. She has played more with that doll than anything else she got for Christmas or her birthday.
