 Hoover Stick Vacuum sticks. November 3, 2009

We ordered this stick vacuum to replace an old Hoover stick vacuum, but the S2220 Flair had so much drag when using it on vinyl or tile floors, that my wife could not comfortably use it.

The product works ok just to get you by until you purchase a real vacuum cleaner. The price is cheap and you will get just what your money paid for. Don't go for the fancy $500 vacuum but keep in mind this ain't the one either.

Excellent vacuum. Its small, moves well and cleans carpets very well. The filter is easy to clean. When I first bought this, a few months later, I plugged it in and turned it on. A spark shot out of the socket, blew a fuse, and the vacuum cleaner had some battery acid like residue coming from the bottom of it. I contacted Hoover immediately and since I was still under warranty, they shipped me a new one as soon as I send the old one back. The new one is working fine so far.

I started getting tired of my robot vacuum, which required a lot of maintenance, especially when you live with somebody with long hair.
This Hoover is excellent. Pretty good price, and gets the job done. No complaints. Its strong and maneuvers very easily.
